PVC control cable, cold resistant, screened
PVC and Rubber Cables and Wires
For medium mechanical stress in dry, damp and wet rooms as well as outdoors. Also for fixed installation on plaster or on machine parts. The cable is used if there are requirements for the noise immunity of the signal transmission (EMC). The outer jacket is oil, UV and ozone resistant.
Design
This product consists of:
- 1Bare copper conductors, fine wires class 5 according to DIN EN 60228 / VDE 0295 / IEC 60228
- 2Core insulation of special cold resistant compound based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
- 3Cores are stranded together with optimal lay-length
- 4Inner sheath of special cold resistant compound based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
- 5Tinned copper wire braiding
- 6Outer sheath of special cold resistant compound based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC), colour: black (RAL 9005)

- Fixed installation: 5 x Ø of cable
- Flexible use: 10 x Ø of cable
Fire properties: EN 60332-1-2: self-extinguishing and flame retardant
Core identification:
- Colours according to CENELEC HD 308 S2
Temperature range:
- Conductor temperature: max. 70°C
- Fixed installation: -40°C up to 70°C
- Flexible use: -25°C up to 70°C
