Railway Signalling and Telecommunications Cables
Safety and control cable for fixed installation in railway installations. The cables must be protected from the constant influence of sunlight.
Design
This product consists of:
- 1Copper conductor, round solid (RE)
- 2Core insulation (PE), cores stranded in layers
- 3Inner covering (plastic tape)
- 4Inner sheath (PE, black)
- 5Armouring (bare steel tape, wrapped with plastic tape)
- 6Sheath (PVC grey RAL 7035)

Test Voltage: 800 Veff (0,14 mm) / 50 Hz 1200 Veff (≥ 0,25 mm) / 50 Hz
Rated Voltage: max. 800 Veff (? 0.75 mm2)
Bending radius (min.): 12 x Ø of cable
Fire properties: EN 60332-1-2: flame retardant
Core identification: Colour code with blue trace core in each layer
Temperature range:
- Laying temperature: min. -5°C
- Operating temperature: -30°C up to 60°C
- Conductor temperature: max. 80°C
