PVC control cable, medium duty

PVC and Rubber Cables and Wires

Medium duty PVC cable for use in domestic premises and offices, e.g. washing machines, spin dryers, refrigerators, etc. These cables are generally unsuitable for outdoor use, industrial applications or the connection to industrial power tools.

Design

This product consists of:

    Bare copper conductors, fine wires class 5 according to DIN EN 60228 / VDE 0295 / IEC 60228
  • 2
    Core insulation of special compound based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC)
  • 3
    Cores are stranded in layers with optimal lay-length
  • 4
    Outer sheath of special compound based on polyvinyl chloride (PVC), colour: according to customer’s requirements

Test Voltage: 2000 V / 50 Hz
Rated Voltage: 300/500 V (Uo/U)
Bending radius (min.): 
  • Fixed installation: 3 x Ø of cable
  • Flexible use: 5 x Ø of cable
Fire properties: EN 60332-1-2: self-extinguishing and flame retardant
Core identification: Colours according to CENELEC HD 308 S2
Temperature range: 
  • Fixed installation: -30°C up to 70°C
  • Flexible use: -5°C up to 70°C
