XLPE/FRNC aluminium energy cable, halogenfree
Power Cables and Overhead Lines 0.6/1 kV
Cables are designed for fixed distribution of electricity in ordinary environment in hotels, hospitals, subway, airports, etc., to protect people and technical equipment of buildings in case of fire, where there is no requirement to maintain the functionality of the entire cable installation in fire. In case of fire, the cable releases a small amount of heat and smoke.
Design
This product consists of:
- 1Aluminium conductor, round solid (RE), resp. sector-shaped solid (SE)
- 2Inner covering (halogen-free tape or halogen free polymer compound)
- 3Core insulation (XLPE)
- 4Sheath (halogen-free polymer compound grey)

- EN 61034-2: low smoke emission
- EN 60332-3-22: reduced flame propagation
Core identification: HD 308 S2
Temperature range:
- Laying temperature: min. -5°C
- Operating temperature: -50°C up to 90°C
- Conductor temperature: max. 90°C
- Short circuit temperature: max. 250°C
